Ten Pages: A Work in Progress Workshop

Not sure if your characters ring true? Have questions about the plausibility of your plot line? Looking for feedback or to share a piece of your finished product before you shop it around? Ten Pages is the workshop for you. Participants will read from their works in progress and engage in constructive conversations with their fellow writers and Beach Shack Director and Pink Magazine Editor, Cindy Whitman. This fun and informative day-long workshop is open to writers of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry – no matter where you are in the process.

Ten Pages: A Work in Progress Workshop will be facilitated by Beach Shack Writers director and developmental editor, Cindy Whitman. Currently serving as editor and contributing writer at Pink Magazine, and recently serving as editor and contributing writer at KA Confidential magazine, Cindy has worked with writers and published authors from coast-to-coast. A graduate of the MFA Writing Seminars at Bennington College, and a Judge’s Special Mention award recipient in the Pirate’s Alley/Pen Faulkner Medal for the Personal Essay, Cindy has been awarded writing fellowships to The Cottages at Hedgebrook, The UCross Foundation, and The Vermont Studio Center.
